Today I took my car into Calgary BMW. I must say that I received "Truly Outstanding Service" Very professional service advisors, free car wash, clean in and out!!!

My only complaint was that they charge $750 to replace front and rear brake pads/rotors. Dam OEM parts are ridiculously priced!

So instead of doing that, I am going for a nice brake upgrade! hehe

That's strange I hear nothing but bad news from them. Ask Adam.

Not to belittle your experience but BMW Service depts usually wash and vacuum a car after service. No way in hell Bavaria or anyone else is touching my paint but as for Bavaria's service, it's top notch.

Yes I've heard lots of bad stuff about Calgary BMW
Yah I know they always wash and vacuum cause I use to get my E36 serviced there
Calgary Honda never washed my Prelude so I enjoy getting my car cleaned for me cause I'm too lazy

Jack carter ( GMC) can somehow make your car more dirty than ever in and out after they fix something

For my first service, the guys at Lonestar said there was no point washing my car because it was spotless :banghead: Next time, I'm driving through a mud puddle so I can get what I paid for. :)

Trust me, you don't want them (or any dealer) washing your car.

I don't see why? Free car wash, vacuum, the car feels and looks like new?:dunno:

I mean, what else are those lot boys going to do?

I was talking to Rob about this subject...Not that I'm defending them either...But Of course youre going to hear alot of the negative publicity about them...It's human nature...But when do we ever hear about the good things (if any)....I've heard good and bad things about every dealership in this city, if its true or not thats what YOU have to find out...I haven't delt with them before but I'll try them out before I judge them!

LOL are you nuts? Brembos are over $3000 USD (MSRP) just for the fronts. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Is that going to be your new upgrade? hehe Brembo rotors are fairly affordable but Brembo 4 piston calipers on the other hand aren't that affordable!

Well if he's speking about "big ass Brembos" then it has to be a complete brake kit.

Brembo rotors are relatively inexpensive but one should nickel plate them b/c the cross drilled holes have a tendency to rust inside an look FUGLY.

I am not going to cut Calgary BMW down, though I will let you know that I live in Calgary and I drive to Edmonton to get my rip off $80 oil change. At one point this summer there was a two week wait to get in to service. Whats truly outstanding is that the work load will soon be handled by 2 Stealerships in Calgary.

Well if its any consolation I had to wait three weeks to get my oil changed/service lol

Seems like there are quite a few people that have had some really negative experiences with Calgary BMW. I guess I'm lucky because I don't have anything to complain about
