Most of you probably already know this, but for those that don't, most non-selective herbicides are just vinegar.

I use a solution of cheap ass vinegar and a small amount of dish soap for the weeds that grow between the driveway and side walk. The soap allows the solution to stick to the leaves making it much more effective.

Hmm. I wonder if a bead of silicone would do the trick? Or perhaps even better, fill the crack with concrete?

Try a kettle of boiling water. Can't get cheaper than that.

I use this, it's pretty good, and doesn't sterilize the soil.

The problem with fire is it stimulates weeds to grow back faster.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm going to try digging it out some and filling the gap with concrete.

Dude, I can get bulk volume pricing on Round Up, let me know if you want some. I get it at a huge (farmers) discount, and can easily sell you 1,10,100 (etc) liters of it if you want.

We buy it by the 3k liter totes. So anything small is weak sauce really. Like for 10 liters or less? I really couldn't care less... not even worth accounting for really, we waste more then that often when spraying.
