Summer Series: Canadian JDM Invasion - Honda Integra Type-R

This summer, we will be featuring member cars on our blog, where we will be taking a look at some of the more interesting cars and stories that have graced this forum in the past decade.

This week, I had a chance to check out NRGie's 1996 Honda Integra Type-R. While GTRs have dominated the JDM imports, the ITR is a bit of a hidden gem out of Japan. While the difference between the USDM version is negligible, it's noticeably more exciting, and only available till few years ago due to the 15 year rule (where you'll get a bit of a lesson). Enjoy!

Well now I really want one. You made it sound like a FWD Miata with more power in the paragraph on go-kart feel. Damn, seriously sounds like a blast to drive.

It's a hell of a lot faster than a Miata. And way more racecar feel than a Miata.

One thing I learned through these summer series reviews, is that I need way more garage space haha.

These cars are pretty sweet for FWD and all. And they sound amazing with intake and exhaust, probably my one of my top 5 best sounding cars

EDIT - and don't feel bad for turning on the wipers, everyone does it haha
