What Martial art school would you all recommend in the NE and why?

I think you would be hard pressed to find a better dojo/studio anywhere.... excellent instruction and world-class athletes there.

I attended there over a period of many years - excellent dojo. Only injuury keeps me away these days.

The Streets along 36 st NE by Marlborough station. They have the most advanced self defense lessons there.

maybe the OP can specify what kind of martial arts he's interested in.

i'm assuming you want a school/gym in the NE because of its proximity to your home?

Correct!
I do have a background in shotokan and kenpo karate with some judo but would check out an MMA gym if it is decent

mma university is in the NE. i've never been there, but their facility looks ok.

not in the NE, but i've been training at champions creed in the SE for quite some time now. we used to be in the NE behind T&T up until a couple of years ago, so you missed out on that! lol!
