What is the reflective tint that the RX300's use called?
What are your guys/gurls opinions on this type of tint on a dark blue car?
I think you can ask for the metallic reflective tint, in different colors.
However on the lexus, I think the actual glass is tinted, not a film on it.
Anyways you can achieve a similar effect with stick-on tint of the right type.
Looks very eye-catching.

I know which tint you're talking about...I've been wondering about that too. I think it would look good on almost any color car because it's subtle. I really want to get the purplish tint that is on the S-class.

Any reflective tint is illegal. Although a few dealerships are installing them as a package it is is still illegal.

"Any reflective tint is illegal."
Whether or not you'll get pulled over is another thing.
I imagine the rear section would be the least hassel.

In Alberta you can have anything on your back windows, heck you can even put curtains on them if you want, anything goes as long as it doesn't touches the front windows & the windshield, nothing is allowed up front

Although chrome tint looks cool it's illegal. My brother and I put it all over his Firero. A week later the entire car was destroyed during the night. It attracts to much attention. I recommend a regular light to semi dark tint. Front windows cannot be tinted past a certain point. Cops will scrap it off if they notice it.

I have been pulled over 3 times for tint, 2 tickets and 1 warning, and I have medium tint on all 5... all 3 times they did not mention anything about the back windows only the front windows. It is not illegal to tint the back windows. Show me where in the traffic act where it says that...

sportryder-was it because your front windows were tinted so you got a ticket not because it was chrome?

hey i think that's the same type of tint, just of lighter sade and darker green.
over here in Vancouver it's called solar tint. The tint itself is illegal because any type of reflective tint is for buildings only.
Also, if tinting front windows are illegal where you are... cops will hassle you too.
