I've been trying to find out how much it costs to dispose or a dishwasher at the city dump but it just says charges will apply. Does anyone know the exact price of dropping off just a dishwasher? Is it the usual 15 bux?

Yeah, it should just be the minimum load price ($15), since it doesn't have refrigerant in it.

Be honest about its condition and then advertise it for free on Kijiji. You should be able to get rid of it easily that way, with no cost to you, and no hauling.

Don't pay to get rid of a dishwasher... as mentioned there's way too many Kijiji desperados picking up appliances and scrap metal for free.

If it's metal, you should never need to pay. Period. Unless you're paying me lol

Called many of those guys in kijiji and unless you have "HEAPS" of metal, they won't bother. But I am bringing it to one of their houses, no charge other than my time.

This.

I've gotten rid of all kinds of crap I didn't want on Kijiji. I place an ad that says "FREE whatever to first person that shows up, item located on driveway, email for address". I've yet to have anything last more than an hour, if it's free people will take just about anything.

I think you can also take appliances to Trail Appliances SOUTH location. Was there today and they have a p[lace in the parking lot all piled up. I unloaded a couple items today.

Yeah, I tried him and never heard back.

Ended up messaging a fella who said he doesn't pick up for only individual items and I asked if I could just drop it off and he said, "sure".

Got to his place in Dover and WOW!!! It was something out of a movie where I thought a drive by was going to happen. Only thing missing was a guy sitting on a couch on the front lawn pouring out some of his forty for his homies!!!

Oh well, it's gone!!

Most dishwashers are like 90% plastic though

Yup but most metal yards take em as scrap anyways, they almost always have a metal door and there's enough copper in there once they process it that they still do ok paying you current scrap steel prices.
