So the house I'm currently living in has an odd back alley set up. Currently to access the back alley I have to drive 4-5 blocks past my "area" and use a back alley entrance for a different group of houses and drive all the way around (big circle taking 3-5 minutes extra every time). It appears there was originally plans for a back alley beside a park area a few houses down from me but was never actually built (ground flattened, hills/trees offsetting the flattened area). I want to get access to my garage without having to drive the retarded 3-5 minutes past my house to get to the alley.
Are there any city bylaws that state houses must have access to the alley directly behind them? It's a long shot but I'm sick of this stupid design.
on a side note, I could just start building my own alley!
