a street car named desire the play? well i've seen it today at theater calgary for a field trip and i must say it wasn't so bad, well it woulda been a great play but i have read the book and watched the movie during class. hehe

the movie i watched, wasn't what i thought it woulda been.
like i thought it woulda been a bit brighter, the contrast and gamma were pretty low and i couldn't see anything! but ya..did you read and watch the movie as a class assignment? or did you just do it from free time.

I also played one of the doctors that took blanche away at the end for the class project skit thing. haha

ahhaa ENGLISH 33 power!

damn, i wanna act the play out. that would be sweet. haah my teacher was like "ya in the movie she goes with the docter hand in hand, but in the play it own't happen"
i watch the play, blanche goes hand in hand with the doc out of the house.

Definitely not free time! Had to do it for English 30

wtf...now in english 33 its a thing we have to do. english 30's have to do shakespear and shit, the board doesn't think 33s can handle it haha

That was actually not a bad play - just 2 yrs ago we had it in eng. 30 at Forest..

Anyways I thought hte book was lame

I read brave new world by aldous huxley in eng 20...that was a cool book!

But anyways I should talk, the only time I read is in english class...and those ended 2 years ago...call me uncultured.

we read the play, then watched the movie (the one with marlon brando) and then we watched the simpsons version in class. it wsa fucking awesome.

dude, brave new world sux. my teach got half the class to read it telling us it was about sex and drugs. it was, BUT BARELY!!! not even the good kind of sex and drugs.

yeah that play is good. The theatre is nice, going to the Jack Singer Concert hall to listen to a good Orchestra is nice too. Never did like Opera, I can't understand them why hear them haha

I read A streetcar named desire for eng 30 last year, the movie was terrible? What version of the movie did you watch? I saw the one from the 50's with ummm, I can't remember his name but he's still acting and he's a behemoth now.

Anyone else read DEATH OF A SALESMAN? That was the worst, we had to sit through the play too
