Do you want a car that will beat most sports cars on the road today?
Do you want a car that will make the opposite gender take notice?
Do you want a car with a showroom shine?

Then don't buy this car. Despite being loaded, this is more or less a basic transportation vehicle.

Here's the lowdown: My wife's cousin recently moved from overseas with pretty much a suitcase full of clothes and little else.
We got this vehicle for him so he could get to work. But now that he's been here for a while and made some money, he bought an SUV (what he *really* wanted), and gave this car back to me to sell.

It's in his name so he will be present to sign over the car and it will be viewed at my house so you know nothing fishy is going on.

Let's start with the good:

- Pioneer CD deck.
- Remote start.
- New brake pads.
- Power everything and working AC. No sunroof.
- Relatively low 206k.
- Twin cam 16 valve 2.4l engine.
- Passed insurance inspection from July 12th. Paperwork to prove.
- *Active* Title
- CD stacker in trunk, but missing cartridge. Not tested.

Full disclosure of the bad:

- Transmission sometimes shifts slightly jerky, and has a check engine code from it. All gears work though and it never fails.
The previous owner said it acted this way for years since the transmission was rebuilt.
- Lower part of windshield has a crack; shouldn't be in line of sight unless you're a little person.
- Sometimes AC belt squeals a little when AC is running.
- Passenger front window doesn't go down.
- Rear tires are at maybe 20%. Front has winters with good tread.
- Engine was occasionally idling low when coming to a stop and even stalled once, but ran perfect 99% of the time with lots of power. (for a 2.4l) A mechanic thought it was likely a dirty idle valve, but the alternator just went out and since being replaced, the issue has not come back yet. I have a replacement part for the idle control from a wrecker yet to be installed - just in case.

Cosmetic condition:
There are roughly one thousand and six paint chips and a little rust which isn't major yet, but it's getting pretty effervescent under the paint by the rear wheel wells. Overall, the body is fairly straight with various minor bumps and scrapes one might expect from a car in it's late teens. Interior is similarily showing some wear and could use a good cleaning, but is pretty decent - save for a couple peculiarly-placed shots of spray paint.

$600 firm. BEYOND PRICE. ($700 firm on Kijiji)
