Due to popular demand, I have decided to post a Foir Sale ad for the truck I used for winter this year. It is a 1988 Nissan Hardbody extended cab with the Z24 FI (4cyl) engine and 5speed tranny. It is a 2wd and currently has 360,000 km on it. Yes 360k! Scary huh?
The good:
In making the truck ready for winter, a new battery was installed, new starter, plugs, wires, and a new power steering pump. The truck has never given me any problems throughout the winter, and is definitley one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. It starts every time, even started in the -50 weather we had! It also doesn't burn oil! My mechanic believes that the previous owner had rebuilt the engine, but I have never seen any paperwork showing that.
The bad:
The stick has a habit of popping out of first gear but if you hold the stick in place (racing style) when in first gear then no problem.
The ugly:
There is a large dent behind the BR wheel. There is some rust around the wheel wells. Rust bubbles on the front of the hood, and the bed tray also has rust. There is also some minor hail damage on the roof and hood.
The truck comes with but not installed a new head gasket and a new rear left tailight. I bought this dependable truck in Sept for $800 looking for $600 obo. I think that's everything, I'll post pics ASAP. Thanks for looking!

Willing to part out, if you cant sell. I would really like the carb of the Z24 motor. It is a direct (almost) bolt-up to my E16 engine

Why not just head down to pick-your-part or Bucks auto Parts and get one there, it will cost next to nothing and you'll probably have it today..

You do realize this is a nissan engine, not a Z24 Cavalier right?

as you can see from the pics there are 91 Pathfinder rims on it (15's) the torsion bar suspension was lowered in the front because I was bored one day and decided it might look cool but if you like I can easily have it returned to normal ride height. If interested PM me and we'll set somthing up. Again the price is $600 OBO.
