Short term rental Cochrane/NW

Hello all

So we sold our condo in a matter of a day (crazy I know) and the people want in Sept 30th. Our house will not be finished being built until Nov 1st. Does anyone know short term rentals in Cochrane or even the NW? I know places like the Howard Johnson on Macleod has one month rentals, but I called a could of hotels in Cochrane and the two I called said they don't do that.

You have a trailer? Because you can rent full hookup sites at the cochrane camp grounds for $800 per month. We did 21 days at Spring Hill for the same reason as you.

Looked at VRBO and emailed one.

We dont have a trailer, but I wonder if I can rent one for the month. Might be worth it.

I looked into one and to get one of an ok size you are looking at like $600+ per week. That will put you at over $3000 for a month and on par with a suite at the Days Inn in Cochrane.

Maybe someone on here would be willing to rent your theirs in the fall off season. Drop it off and pick it up.

That would be an idea as well.

I talked to Go West RV and there older RV's are still about 1200-1300 for two weeks.

Cruise Canada is cheaper at 800 bucks and they dont charge for a small dog (as long as you bring it back the same as you got it)

I would totally rent mine out but we do have a final camping trip in September. (19th to the 22nd)

Did you try the Bow River Inn? It's on the same road as the others. Surprised you were told they didn't...there are a ton of people staying in the hotels in Cochrane for several weeks at a time working on the rigs.

My wife just decided to take vacation and then non-paid vacation. I can take vacation and work remotely. So much cheaper that way. Just going to stay at my folks place in parksville while they go on a cruise. Can't beat that.
