:\ Not making me too happy. I spent the first 6 months of the year doing night shifts and waking up in the morning now when its pitch black is even more depressing.

Top it off I was hoping to have my engine together before the snow flies but I doubt that is happening anymore... :banghead:

no it certainly wont stick, but it also wont be fun driving in that with summers. My studded kuhmos wont go on till our daily high temp drops below 10C for a week. For now I will be switching to my all seasons soonish or perhaps some used non-studded winters.

Everyone's getting worried for no reason, we have at least 6 weeks before we start getting any snow that may potentially stick. I can't remember a single September where you actually needed winter tires.

My winter tires are studded, they are not going on until we get a proper snowfall that is going to stick around.

Environment Canada and Yahoo weather on iPhone already predicted that a few days ago. Based on the estimated temps, it's not going to stick. Ground temps are still fairly high.

That's what I'm hoping for since I'm still running PSS's.

Way back in the day, I drove back from Edmonton in a freak whiteout storm on Bridgestone S-02's. Probably one of my most memorable drives, 3 hours white knuckling down #2 in the 944 Turbo with tons of trucks and semis in the ditch. Drive safe!

In a couple days it will be warmer again. I plan on putting the winter tires on may be mid October. People who has multple cars can put winters on one vehicle and if needed drive that one when there's snow. Shouldn't have much accumulation for a few weeks yet.

Drove from Golden this morning. Was raining hardcore in Golden both overnight and early this morning. I had a few dodgy hydro planes due to the torrents coming down the road around field BC. Then the rain turned to sleet/freezing rain about lake louise. From canmore to calgary there was slush all over the roads, I saw a few cars in the ditch but nothing major. Alot of people were driving 80k or less on highway 1 from scotts hill to the hwy 22 turn off.
