Man that's a long way on gravel for a car like that... And last summer it was not in the greatest shape.

I spent 10 days up in Eagle Plains (stop in the lounge for an eagle claw!!), which is halfway up the Dempster. Beautiful scenic area for sure. But 10 days was far too long! Helicoptering in and out was awesome in that area though.

We just got to Whitehorse.

Hit a mountain goat on the way; not much damage. Just a mirror and some fender damage. But we tore the goat to pieces, so fuck that guy.

The crazy thing is, the roads up here in Yukon are so much better than Alberta it's ridiculous. It's so gorgeous up here. Pictures to follow soon.

Went on our tour of Tuktoyaktuk today... mannnnn is that place desolate. Wicked cool though. Took a jalopy of a cessna, went for a stroll around town, went spelunking in an old fashion ice locker 30' below the surface, and took a stroll into the arctic ocean. Fuck me, it was cold. By the time I walked in deep enough for my thighs to be in the water, my feet were numb and my balls receded into my stomach.

The really funny thing is, we're back in Dawson, and we still have like 4500 kms of driving to do (at least).

This trip is far from over! Whitehorse, possibly Skagway AK, drinks with the same girl from Dawson, then down the Stewart-Cassier highway, stop in Houston, BC; down to Revy, Calgary and home.

Skegway is nice theres a pretty cool train tour you can take if you have time, it takes you out through some pretty cool passes and old prospecting areas.

All of my favorite family run restaurants in Winnipeg shut down for a decent stretch to take a break. One even is closed from Christmas to mid-March when the owners go to their house in Greece.

In addition I try to squeeze in a quick 4-5 day trip somewhere in NA. It's pretty good given the circumstances but you and I lead vastly different lifestyles my friend lol
