Hello all

What are some good Family restaurants in Calgary that are a bit more kid friendly and worth going too?

We have friends coming in to town from Kelowna and they have small kids and we have a 2 1/2 year old, but don't want to go to a chain restaurant.

They are staying near the zoo if that helps.

Are you looking for a place that has food for the kid, or a restaurant that's ok with kids being there?

The nicest restaurant that's kid friendly is definately Mercato West. Awesome food, upscale decor, lots of room, and is loud enough where kids won't bother other patrons.

i would say more where they are welcome. We went to eat the bistro in Cochrane and the food was pretty good, but they are not the most kid friendly. No high chairs or even booster seats. Our waitress was very nice though.

Mercato West welcomes kids. Waiting staff is always friendly with our kids, and yes they have high chairs. Again, food is fantastic.
