Its not mirc chats. Its called irc or internet relay chat.

Its still around and used quite often.

Oh irc, haha, so fucking long ago. irc.msn.com was the server i hung out on. Wonder if its still there.

Actually yes. The big shift of irc usage was when Napster got sued by Metallica and there needed to be a new means to a file sharing means.

I've used irc since 93.. 94? Back when mirc was free and v1.0 in the Windows 3.1 days.
