there a lot of affordable rentals in the same area with way more space. As long as you don't NEED a new building or stainless steel appliances or minerals in your countertops you're fine. Seems ultra high to me but what do I know anymore. It's worth what someone is willing to pay, but that someone won't be me lol.

Yah not sure how anyone would actually pay that. That's crazy.

Seems high.

We rented out for $1900 a 900 sq ft 1 bedroom right in the core at 6 + 10th, and looking at comparables thought we were getting to be on the high side.

Looks to be priced to the market if it includes underground parking.

It's priced high if no parking.

That's Calgary RE for you. Gotta consider that OP probably paid over $300K for it. At that cost, to for him to ever even break even, $1,900 is light.

Recently sold very similar unit for over 410,000 so I don't blame him. :nut:

Sweet fuckers. I've been looking at some units to buy and I wondering if I could charge that much. I guess I can!

:dunno: 500k for a 2 bed 2 bath place downtown same building. The rent doesn't seem so unreasonable when you take into account the price. Then again it's probably further indications the market is way way too high at the moment but that's neither here nor there.

And urban twits wonder why people buy in the suburbs...
