There are a few of us that know eachother with ST's in calgary and Edmonton.

Maybe make a Facebook page as well? That would be a good one for all of us to get to know eachother

Not very many, Schlade and I are probably the most active. There's the guy that's been selling his red ST for months, and doesn't post much. Not many of the people I've met with ST's have been on or know about Beyond.

What would they do for a Fiesta RS though? Surely not AWD. So would it just be higher power output? If they came out with the same 1.6 tuned more aggressively and a larger turbo around 250hp that would be quite interesting.

ATX pushed 330whp out of theirs so it's definitely do-able, though whether the 1.6 can handle that much longer term who knows.

Any considerations for the slightly large bodied Ford Ecoboost....say, one with AWD (but still 2.0L) :nut:

Backstory:

I've had my 2014 F_s__n for just over 2 weeks (like literally 800K's on it), and have been stopped by 6 other owners/enthusiasts to kick tires, of which the idea of a club was brought up....AND a guy in a white 2013 STI stopped me today at a Husky station to ask me about it, as he was considering swapping over to either one of the ST's or the F_s__n
To me, this seems like a TON of interest. I don't have the time anymore to get something started, but would participate in something organized.

Not high-jacking...just adding to the enthusiasm.

*Disclaimer: 1) not sure I'd be allowed to say F_s__n in this thread...but someone mentioned Aveo, so thought I could get away with it.
2) OMG, I haven't been here in a while...4Runner in my sig??? I haven't owned that in 4 years!

Perfect...yes, "muscle car" vs "tuner" category is what I had in my head, but wanted to confirm.

So, count me as interested.

I can't commit a lot to getting it setup with you...kids and smimming/ballet/dance/figure skating/playing barbies/etc keeps me busy...

Sucks to hear the ETA is still so far. As for the sales guy that always seems to be the case, they drop like flies. The same thing happened with my FR-S.

They tried dicking me around on the price when I went to pick it up because they 'couldn't find the paperwork' with the price we originally agreed to but the finance guy claimed he had entered things and they'd just use that...except it was almost 3000$ more than I agreed to (and more that sticker price).

I was halfway out the dealership door when the supervisor/manager stopped me and asked why I was leaving and finally they smartened the fuck up.

I need to get a roof rack for the Fiesta for snowboards for this winter. Any advice? Is the dealership/oem ones the best option or should I go aftermarket? As far as I know the ST doesn't have the same mounting pieces as the normal Fiesta so would I need one that clips onto the door frames?

I'd like something I can basically leave on permanently (either through the winter or actually permanently due to camping in the summers).

I have a question about the Fiesta seats -- what is the range of driver weights that are comfortable?

My wife and i are both around 200 lbs, and the side bolsters are definitely pinching. So, how much weight do we need to lose before we get back into the comfort zone?

The seats wear in honestly.

I'm 6'1 230lbs and my driver seat is perfect now. Not that I'm overweight or anything I'm just a big guy in general. Driver seat is totally different from my passenger seat that I sat in that hugs my 120lb gf no prob lol
