Like a pee pad but grass. Anyone used something like this with success? Im planning some sort of setup in the garage.

I know its easiest to take them outside but they're Chiuahuas. They hate the cold! I realize last year we had an unusually large amount of snow but even with a south facing backyard the snow was over their heads for >6 months. We ended up shoveling an area of grass around a tree for them to do their business but all that did was kill the grass and freeze us! I don't want to do that.

I don't think regular pee pads will work. We've tried the pee pads in the past but our male has terrible terrible aim. And our female refuses to use them unless its at the inlaws, where she was raised.

Im looking to set something up in the garage which will be heated that has a small footprint but still will be appealing to both dogs. Something that will keep them thinking grass until summer rolls around again. I don't want to confuse them by letting them pee inside.

A few google searches that showed up.

Got the porch potty when we lived the condo life waiting for our house to be finished. Works amazing but its pricey. You can also use regular sod on it. My dog would NOT poop on it though. He would pee all day long but id still have to take him down for a #2. That was fine for me as i liked to walk him once a day anyways.
