Won last night and tonight for $275 total. Picks for tomorrow night:

Montreal Canadians Over Phoenix

In their last 24 games they have won a total of three. In their last 18 they are 2-14-2 with the two wins by a one goal margin and the loses by a average of 2.6 goals

Jose Theodore is playing well again. They had won five in a row and with Theodore only allowing six goals. Plus the Coyotes still haven't played well in their new building. I really like this game

Carolina/Atlanta Over 5

The last time a Atlanta Thrashers game had less than 5 goals scored total was 15 games ago on 1/28. That was well before Dany Heatley joined the team to add to the scoring.

In the last eight games between the two seven have gone over and the one that didn’t still had 5 goals scored. In those eight games 53 goals were scored for a 6.6 average a game.

New Jersey/Tampa Bay Over 4.5

The Devils in their last 18 games you’ll find ten of them went over the number, (10-7-1). The Gomez, Elias, Gionta line is hot!
Tampa Bay in their last 22 games has gone 18-3-1 over the number. With 146 goals scored in those games for a 6.6 average.

if you go to canoe.ca, and then into the slam sports section, then hockey, if you click on the "tipster" he sometime picks all the games with reasoning...

I was going to go with Tor over Sabres and Boston over Atlanta, but seeing as how my track record in my first post was not that good, I am not so sure. Tor and Sabres and Boston and Atlanta have all been high scoring, close games. Toronto hasnt even beaten Sabres this year, but with Leetch, I think they are gonna kick their asses.

toronto better be able to beat buffalo. how can they consider themselves contenders if they can't even beat the sabres?

Went 2-0-1 last night.

Toinghts picks:

Tampa over Florida

Since the third of January TB is 22-5-1. They also have are leading the league with 19 wins away from home. They are 13-2-3 in the last 18 road games and have won four in a row.

In their last 6 games at Florida they stand at 3-2-1 although they have lost the last two. However in the 1/17/04 game they out shot the Panthers 51-15 but Roberto Luongo only allowed one.

TB will not get shut down again.

New Jersey/Carolina over 4.5

It’s very possible that both Brodeur and Weekes will not be in net for Saturday’s meeting. Matter of fact it’s highly likely they won’t.

Brodeur hasn’t had a night off in three weeks and with the Flyers up next, Scott Clemmensen may get a rare start. And Arturs Irbe may get the nod for Carolina. This could lead to some higher scoring

Vancouver over Columbus

Van is 18-10-3-4 away from home. Even though they have stuggled lately, going 4-4-1-1 in their last 10, I see this being a turnaround game for them. The rest of the month has 6 of 7 games against western conference teams and they will need to step it up. This is the game they do it

Today:

Edmonton over Chicago
St Louis over Buffalo

I don't really like any of the games today but these are my picks. I don't have time for a writeup though.

2-0 last night
7-0-1 in this thread

03/08/04 picks:

Montreal over Anahiem

Montreal has won 7 of their last 8 and are playing well right now. Ananhiem on the other hand, just lost to Pittsburgh, who hasn't won on home ice in 17 games. Montreal is 6-3-1 in their last 10 against the ducks and I don't see them losing this one.

Ottawa over Washington

One of the top teams in the east visiting against the the worst team in the west. Washington is trading away everyone and who know, maybe even kolzig will be traded tomorrow and not even play this game. This should be an easy win for Ottawa

Does anyone else even bet on sports or is it just dopedealer and I? :dunno:
