Justin's store is located close to us and he had stopped by a few months earlier to chat and congratulate us on the opening. I hadn't purchased anything from him before but he seemed like a genuine guy when he came by.
I work out at the gym a 30 second walk from Gem by Carati and walk by every time I leave the gym. I usually glance in the store but hadn't seen Justin so I didn't stop.
Yesterday, I was on my way out and running a little late for an anniversary dinner but saw Justin so I stopped in for a moment. I explained what I had in mind and advised that I was in a rush. Without hesitation, he knew exactly what to show me. As I was considering it, he told me the revised "Beyond Discount" price and it was game over. He may as well have just put a gun to my head at that point because once he gave me the revised Beyond price I didn't even have a choice but to hand over the dough.
As he was wrapping everything up, I realized that "oh ya, it's my anniversary!" so I picked up something for my wife as well. ;)
Service: 10/10 Justin is polite, efficient, and seems to know every piece in his store intimately. Knowing that I was in a hurry, he wasted no time with idle small talk and got right down to business - showing me the pieces that fit my criteria perfectly.
Price: 10/10 Please do not visit Gem by Carati if you want to keep your money. Justin must be a student of The Godfather because he's perfected the art of making an offer you can't refuse.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I told Justin that I frequently walk by and don't see him in and he said that he often works in the office. So if you don't see him in the store, don't be shy and walk in because he's probably just working in the back.
