Reading that article, it seems like the mayor of Reno has pushed all his chips in in order to create jobs and stability for his city before it turns into a dust ball. And it sounds like the it's the state of Nevada investing and building a free plant for Tesla.

So D for dual motor i.e. AWD. 0-60 in 3.2 sounds tempting, but adding a second motor to a car that weighs between almost 4,500 and 4,700 lbs? Also mentioning the extra 10 miles of range.. Almost statistically insignficant.
