Anybody in Calgary know where I can get some aluminum tube fabricated, or in stock preferably? Very small personal project, I've got some requests out with a few places but they're all very slow in their responses. Hoping to find something this week (or early next.) I've checked all of the local Home depot etc's, can't find what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for:
- 3 sections of 4ft aluminum tube.
..Outer diameter of 1.5"
..Inner diameter of X.xx"
- 2 section of 1ft aluminum tube
..Outer diameter of X.xx" (To fit into the above ID)
..Inner diameter can be anything
Concept would be to "fit" the 3 sections of tube together to create a 12' long aluminum "boom" using the two smaller section of tube inside with long screws. Could possibly look at machining if anyone has information on that, too.
