My parents got an iPad from my brother for their trip to China in a few weeks, and I've been tasked with trying to teach them how to use it.

My parents are probably the least technologically-literate people on the planet, and to make matters worse, there's a significant language barrier since I don't speak Cantonese very well.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some websites that can teach them the basics in Cantonese?

iOS is the simplest thing to use. Trust me my 94 year old grandma knows how to use facetime.

What basics do you need?

show them safari, a game or two, facetime

Are they just mostly browsing some Chinese websites and Skyping? For my no speaka English in laws we just put all the icons and shortcuts they need on the main page and moved everything they don't need to the other screen and put them all in folders and told them not to touch them. Then we showed them how to take pictures and videos and that was it. It might take a couple of lessons but IOS is pretty easy to use so they shouldn't have too many issues.

Connecting to wi-fi. Needing passwords and finding hotspots.

They're using it mostly to take pictures and use internet, I think.
