Is this like when everyone speculated Kim Jong-Il had been dead for years. But you know, wasn't?

I'm sure his emmental addiction is causing some backed up plumbing problems. Apparently he sent some North Korean chefs to France to learn how to make it and got turned down. Gout maybe?

I would believe this at least, his father had it and he is quite the indulger obviously. It's painful as shit I heard, if the guy could barely walk around I dont think they'd want him attending public events, make him look like a cripple in front of his entire country as quoted in the article:

“When the leader is somehow physically incapacitated, they can’t show him off as they like to,” Delury said. “It’s a physical issue with aesthetic consequences. The regime is incredibly image conscious. It choreographs everything, especially when it comes to the leader. Kim is a young guy, and you don’t want to see a young guy in that condition.”

But they just had talks with ROK recently iirc, where the DPRK official supposedly admitted they do have 'reform labour' camps:

I thought North Korean leaders are supposed to be divine beings. How can he have gout? Didn't they land a rocket on the Sun?

Semi related: There is an excellent documentary episode on VICE (season 1 episode 10) about visiting North Korea and Kim Jong-Un's antics if anyone is interested. Highly recommend a watch.
