For the past couple weeks I've been sending a bunch of emails to consultancy firms and management consultants themselves trying to get an informational interview as part of one of my class projects for an undergrad course. It's a biotech course but the whole career aspect of it isn't really related to biotech, hence me contacting firms like Deloitte and not just ones like IMS Consulting. I've gotten a few responses from people and been following up with them but for some reason or the other, nothing seems to be panning out.

Anyways, I was hoping to get an informational interview with a management consultant or someone with experience in the field sometime before next Wednesday. It would very much be a casual thing, asking how the job is, typical work day, things you like about it and thing's you don't, career path etc. Not looking for too much of anyone's time either. Hopefully someone reading this will feel generous towards a student! Any help is much appreciated! :burnout:

Make an actual phone call, find them on LinkedIn. Go.

^Did both of those before posting. Found LinkedIn to be quite useful actually. People are quite eager to help out a student. The problem arose when correspondence dropped off after I gave them my availability.

I have a lead or two now though!
