can some1 give me there opinin of an 90ish turbo MR2? im thinkin of getting one. and specs would be cool too.

91 - 96 : Pocket Rockets! One of my favorite cars.

200 hp. rear wheel drive. mid engine.

I believe they made suspension mods in 94 to make the back end a more stable. not necessarily an improvement.

hes saying u should make sure u get the turbo mr2 cuz the non turbo ones are slow. the sw20s were only available in canada til 93 iirc.

imo, these cars are great, but wicked expensive. ive seen them going for almost 20 grand, which is a lot for such an old car.

Yeah, in calgary, 1991 turbo's w/ 100ks on them are going for like, 18,000. And thats bone stock.
Very good cars IMO...go for it.

it's an amazing car...
and yes, get the turbo... if you don't, you'll end up regretting it
as for the differences:
93+ has a different suspension setup (more user-friendly) which also makes the car sit a bit lower
93+ 15" rims instead of 14's i believe
93+ boost cut was increases from 12 to 16 pounds
93+ has optional factory lsd :drool:
as someone mentioned before, 200 rwhp & 200 tq
and yes, 93's were the last year they were made in canada... so be prepared to dish out the cash for one of those

Nice car ! and they r fast ( sort of ) and quite realiable, and good looking as a over 10 yr old car !

But their resale value still very high, my friend just sold his 1991/1992 MR 2 turbo last week, he can still get $9,000 for it ! :thumbsup: (well, he got many upgrades on the car, such as engine, turbo, 2 set of wheels, etc..may be that is why he can get that much for it... )

Overall, nice car ! I almost bought one long time ago ! :D

Hehe he got ripped off if he sold it for 9000 a low mileage turbo will sell for anywhere from 15-23K...the highest Ive ever seen an mr2 go for in Canada is 38K:eek:
