A trailer is an advertisement for movies. It shows small samples of the feature film to make you want to go to the theatre to see the whole thing.

It was a leak. They released because it was leaked. They blame Hydra.

It was only released 2 Hrs ago.

Yup, it was supposed to air with Agents of SHIELD next week but they got pre-empted by the leak.

Also, HULK BUSTER!

This looks unreal. Comic enthusiasts pointing out either a possessed Hulk by Scarlet or one that smoked up. a Wakandan lady leading to Vibranium/Black Panther in Cap 3. Cannot wait for May.

So tired of all these superhero movies... Especially after how awful Captain America 2 was.

Steam will eventually runs out and Marvel will eventually slip. But for now I just don't know how they can let go the original 4 Avengers, especially Ironman. Unless Antman takes off which I doubt at this point. But Antman can pull a GOTG and they can build phase 4 off him.

Which part? The part with the mega flying saucers that were gonna shoot thousands of people? The part where Fury quite obviously faked his death and came back to life? The part with the fake facemasks? The part where they were looking to save the world with 1960s computers that have a Nazi in them?? The part where massive multi-story falls don't seem to hurt ANYONE? Or maybe the part where his arch rival is also from the 1940s? I turned the first Captain America off, but the second took the trophy for being just SO stupid. I realize there should be some degree of stretching reality due to the genre, but come on...

Now that's a movie I'd watch. At least in that one when Samuel L Jackson dies, he's good enough to stay dead.

I have not seen this yet, but I've been scanning early reviews.

Metacritic has a lot of 80%s, but of more interest is when looking at the user comments on imdb (being careful to avoid spoilers). The general vibe seems to be underwhelming and disappointing.

I'll be curious to see what fellow beyonders will think of it. It'll be a while before I get a chance to see it.

Yeah, review isn't that great on this one. I have not seen it yet and not going in right now with the madness.

Even Whedon's interviews seem like he got beat by the anticipation and not working well with restrictive narrative to keep the MCU going.

I saw AoU last night at the second showing at Chinook.

My spoiler free review: It's as good as the first Avengers movie. If you like action, like some character development, like a bit of good humor, it's a great movie. There are a couple of points it dragged slightly, and a couple of times you wonder why a character was shoehorned in, but overall I liked it. That said, it is a personal opinion.

Also, the mid-credits scene = good things coming in the future

SPOILER BITS:

-Vision was well done. Especially with Thor XD
-The Black Widow/Hulk thing felt a bit forced.
-Hawkeye taking Wanda under his wing near the end of the movie was one of the high points of character development. Hawkeye in general in the movie was awesome, they really dialed in his down-to-Earth attitude and common sense approach to things perfectly.
-Iron Man vs Hulk = great Tony Stark banter, including the awesome "I'm sorry" right before a Hulk uppercut XD
-Quicksilver. Needed more screen time :|
-Wanda in her Avengers "Scarlet Witch" costume right at the end = oh hell yes. Close to the comic book coat, while keeping it "realistic"
-AVENGERS ASSE- = GAAAAAAH WHEDON YOU ARSENUGGET! :D

I liked it. Saw it in imax 3d but the 3d was pretty dumb overall. I like what is to come from the foreshadowing though.

Am I the only one here that can't stand movies that are so full of (obvious) cgi that they might as well be cartoons? Such as any transformer movie past the 1st one, guardians of the Galaxy etc. Pass

It was pretty good. Cap 2/Guardians are still top tier for me though.
