Just don't get 12 dozen roses or anything.. either get 1 rose ~$8, or get a bouquet of something else that isn't too expensive.

I agree... one stem is really sweet.
A bouquet would be too much.
Lillies ($8+), gerber daisys ($5), or orchids ($8+) are a good choice.. they stray away from the traditional rose - which I think are overplayed because they sell them at bars now too. I like lilies the best... be warned tho, some stems of casablanca lilies/tiger lilies/oriental lilies may be around $15.

just go for a single stem of something, or like a thing of wild flowers. Nothing big cuz it's only the first date, save the big stuff for later on.:bigpimp:
