New build -Appliances

Hi everyone,
Any body got credit for their appliances from homes by avi and bought their own appliances Recently? Do we need to match
The brand of all the appliances?

I am kind of thinking like Samsung microwave, and Samsung gas range.
And Samsung fridge and whirlpool dishwasher.

My builder goes with whirlpool.


so just thinking of going with builder for just dishwasher and microwave over the range, and getting the rest on my own probably from trail appliances .( as the builders quote is 1000 dollars more compared to trail appliances sale price )

Any thoughts ? Thanks for your input and time.

You won't get much of a builder credit as the spec Whirlpool appliances will be low end, basic pieces.

What model is the WP dishwasher? You don't want to cheap out here, the more basic the dishwasher, the noisier it will be, that should be a major consideration in a new build with how open almost all floor plans are.

I didn't go with Avi but had a credit from my builder last summer. I went kitchenaid but regardless make sure you spend over the ammount of the credit to get the best deal. I don't think there is a rule about matching though?
