Magnetic Windshield Cover

Anyone got one of these, or have experience with them? I saw one in an ad, and apparently it tucks into the door seals and has some magnets to keep it from flapping. Seems like a good idea to keep the frost/snow off the windshield, or maybe to keep the sun out in the summer?

Thoughts?

I might do this for extended storage periods in the summer to keep sun off the dash. Seems like it would be finnicky, and I wouldn't be all that pumped on dicking around with it in -20.
