My friend lost her last key for her 2002 Saturn sl2. What is the best option to getting a couple replacement keys cut?
Can the dealers cut a key without having the car physically there?

I know when I lost the key for my civic I took my registration and insurance to the dealership and they cut me new keys.. Was like $6 a key or something.

I had a locksmith come to my car on AMA's dime and he cut 3 keys on the spot for my 2000 GMC suburban back in the day.

Yes, the dealership can cut keys for you just based on the VIN and proof of ownership.

Not sure if its chipped. Honestly I don't know much about it that's why I'm wondering.
Can I use my Ama on her car if the dealer can't do it?
