Anyone work at Motorsports place?

Yesterday I was shopping around, looking at the Polaris RZR 1000 and decided to pull the trigger, I told the salesman over and over again I want extended warranty etc, well this morning as it is 5am, I cant call right now, I notice 6 months warranty factory and a extra $2987 for SAL extended warranty. Doesn't that seem steep for extended warranty???

LOL extended warrantys are always far more expensive as they are 3rd party.

The warranty is expensive to cover when the reverse chain breaks and all the bushings in the suspension go on the first year.

Sal warranty is 5 years long.

I called 4 dealers giving me all different pricing ranging by huge amount of money Pro Am giving me the lowest quote $1800

Cycle works $2900

When you called, did you ask specifically for the same warranty (ie: SAL) over the same term? I only ask because for cars, there are different warranty providers that have different policies with regards to claims (ie: using aftermarket parts opposed to oem, deductibles may vary etc...) and it would be a good idea to make sure you are comparing apples to apples.

I know of people that get the extended warranty and more than cover that cost prior to selling. I guess it depends what it covers.
