1986 civic... how much can i get for it?

Im just wondering how much a 1986 Honda Civic DX would go for. Its got average rust, 310xxxkms, rebuilt motor, new tires and battery etc. My Grandfather want to sell his, but doesnt have any idea what it is worth, neither do I...

well i know a friend who sold a 88 Civic for 1500$, so yours would probably be around 1200$?

Except 88 is a different (more sought after) body style I don't think too many people would be actively looking for an 86.. IMO
