Yo Spyboy,
where are the official specs :dunno: I want to know how fast that baby will be, and if it really comes with the serious brakes, etc. Should I get one?

Some numbers from the Subaru Australia site:

Audi S4 = $109 320 AUD
BMW M3 = $141 000 AUD
WRX STi = $55 130 AUD

Prices for the S4 and M3 here in Canada:
S4 = $57 200
M3 = $73 500

And using some math, the price for the STi works out to be $28 792. :dunno:

But the difference in the price of the WRX and the STi is $7100.:dunno: :dunno:

Horizontally opposed, yes. Porsche, no.

The headlights look way better than the current setup. And that big ass hood scope looks sick.

I think what they are aiming for is another manufacturer that is selling a Rally/WRC packaged car. They could have listed the EvoVII too, but its not really aimed at selling WRC fan base.

I think you mean 'boxer' motor. horizontally opposed motors are refered to as boxer motors so yes it does have a boxer motor, but it is not from the Boxter.

I think the hood scoop is a bit to much, just when I was starting to like the new headlights they change them!!:(

I don't think Subaru has any 2 door Impreza's for this current gen.

That's just ridiculous....you should be able to choose.
I'd take a 2 door WRX forsure....but as soon as I get into the 4 doors....I dunno.

doubt that'll ever happen...i think subaru is targetting a specific market...same goes for lancers....IMHO I love 4 doors...so convient!!!!! I remember having my 2.5 RS coupe..such a PIA!:thumbsdow

Oh I understand the practicality of having 4 doors, but for those of us who don't even need a back seat, they should offer a 2 door version....plus it would be a hell of a lot lighter!

but like i said...i think their aiming towards a specific audience....Plus it makes the car look more of a sleeper than anything especially the wagon! "Oh it's just a 4 door...it's probably slow...."
