Why would they show it off at the LA Auto Show with no plans to release it in North America? Cunts.

Probably in US for promo shots and swing by LA to show it off.

I think VAG group that does the autoshow circuits and Audi America are not in sync.

Source where VW says it's not coming here?

They confirmed AWD Wagon is coming to USA and so is Allroad. The R wagon wouldn't be that much of a stretch.

Following the German firm's announcement on the LA debut, we asked Volkswagen USA spokesman Mark Gillies if and when the high-performance estate will be offered in the States.

"There are no plans currently to sell the car in the U.S." Gillies told Carscoops.http://www.carscoops.com/2014/11/shucks-vw-tells-us-it-has-no-plans-to.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Carscoop+%28CARSCOOPS%29
