What do you have in store for your ride? Next season I'm mainly focusing on appearance and suspension.

Getting a Triple R Lip
Have my wheels on order
Get coilovers/end links
Want to wrap my roof
And likely do intercooler.

And then drive as much as I can next season and attend as many beyond meets/grey Eagles as I can

2008 BMW M3 - Going to add methanol injection. Some 19" super deep concave forgestar F14s with some PSS's.

2001 Audi S4 - Probably just add FMIC, piggie pipes and new y pipe. MAYBE Stage 3 depending on how things are going haha.

Or the possibility of just selling both, moving to a B8 S4 for a couple years and enjoying the simplicity of owning 1 car..

For local club events, you could probably ask for permission to run in HS with a short shifter, but as soon as you hit regional, national or U.S. events, that won't work.

If you change wheel offset or width, not even local competitors will allow you to stay in HS.

Ideally:
Wrap roof black
Put on roof rack for snowboards
Possibly a LED light bar for when alone late in the mountains / going on the back country roads to my parents farm
Exhaust to give it a nicer sound
Add a small sub to round out the lower bass
Look at getting a limited slip diff next year to make it even more of a winter monster. The TC isn't bad but you can definitely tell one wheel is trying to spin

Depending on if a dealer will do the mountune upgrades and keep warranty maybe do their MP215 package or whatever its called

The Audi sounds like a fun car... Love those M3's.

More likely going to pull a douche move and mount them on the roof.

While not "road legal" I see moose / deer at least half the time going to my parents and there is never traffic on the road (maybe 1 car per hour) so for times like that I'd like to be able to see way better.

What do you mean by a bar to extend out? Like out the front bumper? Can't see that looking good haha

BavarianBeast

Whoops haha. I didn't even see that this was posted under the ST owners club. My bad.

Shlade, the Audi is an absolute blast to drive. I enjoy driving it in the snow just as much as I enjoy driving the M3 on a sunny summer day.

It's not silver by chance and lowered is it? Nice newer style Audi wheels?

Also if mods want to move this to general car/bike talk to get some more people on board do it up

BavarianBeast
11-27-2014, 12:33 PM
It is silver with black RS4 style wheels, but it's my winter and daily driver so I have kept the ride height stock.

Shlade
11-27-2014, 12:37 PM
Ah ok gotcha there's a nice silver one that's pretty low rolling around the south end of the city.

What colours your m3? I know there's a bad ass one off south land by my buddy's dads place that's 4 door and sounds supercharged. Super loud exhaust always rips by when me and my buddy are around

BavarianBeast

Ah nice, they are great cars when everything is working on them. Just a major pain to do any work on it as the 2.7L twin turbo engine is pretty cramped in there. It's a pretty small car for a 4 door.

My M3 is matte blue! Here is a shot of it;

http://imgur.com/xgDDzhP

I ended up wrapping the entire car over the winter last year. I've already started removing some of the vinyl that was damaged from rocks, etc and will be applying fresh vinyl on the hood, front bumper, passenger fender and drivers side quarter panel.

Shlade
11-27-2014, 02:47 PM

Nice rims!

Just pulled the trigger on some brembo slotted rotors and hawk hps pads yesterday, and have a set of upgraded valve springs on order as well.

Still need new rubber all around, but as yet undecided on brand and size.

The COBB rear motor mount eliminated that horrid shift bang... Takes a couple hundred kms to settle in. Little vibration when the rpm drops to 800 or so... But that usually just at idle. Worn in quite nicely on my car now

Do you winter drive your car though? I'm concerned that little vibration increase in the summer = a large vibration increase in the cold weather since I DD this thing

Honda, nothing, just drive it and be cheap as possible.

BRZ, ideally some more suspension work, r comps and more wheels, brakes, aluminum rad.

Yes I do. And no you'll be fine... If you want vibration replace the upper motor mount and watch your balls shake along with your dash... The read motor mount is a great upgrade

Tidy up my trunk setup and try and get the front to air out more. Maybe a downpipe but I doubt it and a mountune bpv if I can find a good price on one

The procal is a flash once and never see the dumb thing again. Access port does a million and a half things and is able to be displayed all the time showing different parameters.

Overall Cobb is the way to go.

So if I wanted to get a LSD in the Fiesta but no chance I trust myself to do it, anywhere in town that you guys would trust? Don't care about the install cost, just want it done correctly.

Thinking I'm gonna look at the Quaife Diff from Mountune sometime this summer. Just concerned about reliability given that the tranny has to come apart to install it ...

I am trying to decide right now if I want to sign up for club with track days or do an autocross season.

To be honest I mainly want it for winter. The car is decent but you can really feel the one wheel spinning off the line when it's icy out. Corner isn't bad because the torque vectoring kicks in. But it doesn't seem to do much when the wheels are straight.

Have you driven yours much yet? You just got it as it snowed in the fall didn't you?

I think I am just going to go with some crazy tires to try and get more power down

Yeah, even stock power I had grip issues in second on the OEM tires before it snowed.

I'm at 13k now, don't think I'll get studded winters again though, it's too spin happy with the turbo and I probably already wore the studs down beyond their usefulness.

I don't know what to do for summer tires though, minimal wheel selection for this stupid bolt pattern. Might just see if I can get a better compound on the factory wheels for now.

Spring plan change...

I've been talking to Alex at Stratified Auto about a tune in March/April...he's just finishing a FWD 2.0L EB Fusion now, and if all goes well, I'll be the first AWD. :)

Counting weeks now...getting close to counting days.

Yes and no. I was able to source out H&R coilovers for a wicked price here so snagged those up. I paid actually for my wing risers even though the cad dollar is shit.

Still got my wheels to get here as well so gotta pay for those in USD lol

Aside from that I'm just trying to source out used parts right now like an intercooler but not in any rush really for that
