I have a 7970 which is good but getting a PG278Q soon and want to utilize gsync.

What is my best option? Titan Z is no more. 980? If so what model and run two maybe?

I have an Asus Sabertooth X79. Would love to go X99 but the cost would be high.

If your looking for good. Non biased reviews look here: http://www.guru3d.com/

They are the best. Very through reviews and they always have the latest stuff.

Also AKAIK the Titan-z is still king.

I'm still holding out for a 20nm or 16nm part before upgrading.

Its been *ages* since the move from 40nm to 28nm.

There was a die shrink every year up until 40 nm, 40 to 28 took three, and it looks like 28 to 20 (which should actually be 16) might take four or five years.

I purchased a 780ti superclocked which is a great card in my opinion.

I see they've came down in price $300 which is nice too.

I have a 970 currently which I really like but 980 is king for now. Kind of diminishing gains for the price though. I think they are working on a better 980 though more similar to 780ti or titan to compete with the radeons.

Got a pair of 980sc's. Going to keep me happy for a long time. If North Korea stops hacking BF4 i would be enjoying them right now but ...

970 is best price to performance atm. 980 is the current king of the hill of the standard graphics cards. A 980Ti should come next year, as well as a Titan based on Maxwell

This seems to be still holding true - bit the bullet and ordered a MSI 970 Gaming 4G to replace my 670. Still seems to be best bang/buck and they are including the new Witcher 3 game for free with any newish gforce card this month. The Gigabyte version was tempting but it's 12 inches long.
