Hello all,

Got happy feet on some new gear and installed two new Evga 980sc (geforce) cards replacing 7970 (Amd) video card. Also added more ram - running 32gb in 8 sticks. Win 7 home (installed) cannot handle more than 4 sticks so i bought win 7 pro.

I added all hardware at once and hoped i could slap in win 7 pro disc and it would majically work. Well no.

Can i make a boot memory stick with win 7 pro disc and go forward or should i go back to stock and add one at a time. If so, in what order?

Regards,
Noobsauce McGee

Start with your bios first. Does it detect all the ram?

You called it Sal0. I tried everything last couple of days. Went back to original - load Win7Pro - add memory - no go with cards.

I updated BIOS from 2011 to 2014 release and up it goes with my two 980sc's running SLI.

You not really even telling us what is going on in the least bit at all. If you want any help then get more descriptive with your words. We aren't mind readers.
