There’s actually a straightforward explanation for how the truck ended up, allegedly, in Syria. The export market for used U.S. vehicles reaches across the globe. The cars and trucks we think of as old and busted hold immense value in other parts of the world, and auction transactions happen fast. The truck likely passed through numerous hands and ended up on a dealer’s lot in Syria before Mark-1 had fully broken in the vehicle that replaced this F-250. From there, judging by the image on Twitter, it became part of Ansar al-Deen’s fleet.

Isn't it RHD in Syria? I'm surprised they haven't banned LHD vehicle imports yet.

I had a chat with a coworker a couple months ago. Aparently his neighbor recently sold his 350000 km sienna to someone in Nigeria ( no seriously) for like 4 grand.

They shipped it all the way there for his "painting business".

Wow that's fucked. Makes sense now though, as mileaged out crap to us is gold in 2nd and third world countries, but still. I think our domestic trucks would be the most likely candidates for places like the middle east and south America (etc).

Last truck I sold had like 250,000 km, and wasn't in super shape, guys who bought it were shipping it to Nigeria. They paid cash and didn't ask for an inspection. Great folks, I would do business with them again.

Whoever said, "there's no such thing as bad publicity" didn't expect this.

One day we will find out that all these "Nigerian Scams" on the internet were actually Nigerian Kings trying to give people money haha.

And right now its just a lot of puzzled Nigerians sitting around confused why nobody will accept there gifts of millions. haha

My next Kijiji add will highlight the features of the vehicle that make it a good candidate for a technical or VBIED.

"Spacious quad-cab design allows for the easy transport of up to 6 martyrs. Aggressive offroad tires allow you to navigate bomb craters or ruined pavement left by infidel bombs and tanks. Rear bed can be easily modified to hold whatever surplus machine gun you can get your hands on. Ample power jacks for speakers and microphones to spread the word of god or rock out to the latest tunes."

Seems like it would sell quick.

Why oh why wouldn't you remove that prior to selling/auctioning the vehicle? He won't be doing that again. And a giant facepalm to all the stupid americans who actually thought that a plumber from texas would sponsor vehicles used in a war. Jesus.
