HAHA I dunno but I just lol hard at this one.

What would Beyond do? Walk away or scramble and pick up cash? Reminds me of those TVB shows I watched growing up. "poon moon boot moon"

I would walk away.... after using my shirt to hide my face from camera's, and stuffing my pockets full.

leave it; you know darn well with everybody taking video today your license plate would get caught on camera and the police would be coming to pay you a visit eventually.

if i was walking by, I would take a bunch of cash, if i was driving by, I would leave it, as I would get arrested in the future, but walking, no face no ID no worries.

I am sure they lost tons of it with people grabbing whatever they could.

Doesn't it seem very suspicious for a single truck to be carrying that much? In North America there would be daily hijackings if it was the same amount in unescorted single trucks. Probably some insurance scam taking place.

It is a VERY different world over there.

Cash is king in HK and China, 15million is probably the daily cash roll. It's not uncommon for people to have $10k+ cash on them and that is why they need man purses. Also it wasn't a crash, the back door/tailgate broke and the cash flew out and the guards kept on driving for a while before noticing.

Not at all. When I worked armoured car we carried money like that all the time.

Most I ever had in a truck was almost $45 million in cash. I've had $150 million in diamonds.

The amount of money that moves around is insane.

Its just bills. The US printed 3.02 Billion $100 bills in 2012 and 4.42 Billion $100 bills in 2013 (For a total of $744 billion in denominated $100 bills total in two years) Thats probably somewhere comparable to the height of the empire state building when measured in pallets.

I'm actually quite surprised the US doesn't run out of ink. Greece ran out of money to buy ink to print money a long time ago. Its that weird sort of loopback like burning 1.1 barrels of oil to get 1 barrel of oil.

Link in the original post has been updated. Two people arrested and 27 people turned in the money they took, though I'm sure they didn't turn in all the money they grabbed hahaha
