Anyone have experience with insurance claims on rhd ?

Buddy got backed into today damaging aftermarket hood and bumper and shattered his headlight on Jdm 300zx , anyone know if insurance will typically repair like a usdm or if it's automaticaly wrote off due to right hand drive and aftermarket panels, and Jdm headlight typically not available to body shops

those headlights are the same as usdm, the hood will be replaced as per factory hood quote, the panels are the same as usdm.....only difference is the 99 bumper, which is what the car should have anyways as it is the best

That's his concern its got a very nice oem styled front bumper can't remember the brand , and a vented Fiberglass hood, he just Imported it himself and spent countless hours doing the valve cover gasket intake gaskets etc

this is the bumper I had, stock 99 bumper, best looking without question, cleanest and best fitting is a stock bumper, hood I would replace with stock, vented fibreglass looks tacky, think if this as a good thing, he can get his car back to a cleaner stock look.
