Hey guys!

I am trying to source a small wood burning stove / kettle. I need to be able to connect exhaust ducting to it as well, and must have a closable door.

Willing to work out a deal for the right one, and even trade handyman work!

What for? I make small flat top pig stoves for camping out of coffee cans. They are larger than a camp stove but way lighter as you don't have to haul fuel around.

From another thread, but still appropriate:

What are you using this for, and what do you mean by "small"?

I'm immediately reminded of the Kelly Kettle that is carried by Lee Valley:

I am building a sauna from scraps, and recycled pallets. I have to buy some wood, like the cedar for inside, but the integral part is what the heat will be generated from. I don't have any accessible 220v wiring, not many options for 110v, so I have to go the wood burning route.

this one would be PERFECT!

basically looking for something 24" x 24" x 30" or so.

At our old cottage in Ontario we took a second hand pot belly stove and just tacked on a 10" wall to the top to hold the rocks. We fed it from the outside so it didn't take the warm moist air from inside.

^^ yup, I am even open to something like that. I plan on adding an air draw from the outside for it, but I want to be able to add wood without having to go outside.

Ours would go for hours. We would start it around dinner and by dessert it was hotter than hell. Add a log or two and it would out last us.

I am loathe to suggest Canadian Tire for anything, but they have some small ones. A friend of mine put one in his school bus and it was around the dimensions you're looking for.

PA has one on sale but it's not the most heavy-duty thing out there.

I've got a good old one in good shape that used to be hooked up in the garage. It has a maple leaf symbol on it - can send pics and specs possibly tonight if you're interested and PM your details.
