You can have it.

But as I said b4 that paint color has to go. Hard to take serious as the super dragger that it is.

P.S. Is that intake manifold not tapered? Hard to tell in picks.

A new paint job will never be in the budget. Besides, it adds to the sleeper appeal.;) It came that way from the factory, and it will stay that way.

The intake is not tapered. It's 4" diameter the whole way.

that has to be the baddest sleeper in AB. Those guys in Fort MacMurry have places to go... and a short time to get there.

Sleeper apeal only goes so far, but hey no worries.

So if the manifold was custom built why not get it built tapered as it is more efficient. Your 4th cylinder will always get less air and more rich now compaired to 1,2,3 due to the air going it will have less velocity at the end of the manifold. I'm sure it's not a huge deal, but if it was custom it would have been a minor request.

Is it a street car too? If so where does one get insurance for such a modified beast?

Some custom manifolds are tapered, some are straight but a large diameter. I've seen both on professional race cars. GM and Dodge both run non-tapered in their sponsored cars. We will be keeping a close eye on each cylinder. If changes are necessary we will deal with it when the time comes.

It's a street car and will see lots of time roaming the streets and will most likely see a road trip or 2, to either Red Deer and possibly Edmonton.

Cool man. Long road trips scare me with a modified car, but I'm more paranoid with that stuff. You did not say who your insurance is under? PM with it if you have to. Modified insurance is hard to come by.
