I'm looking to pick up an airbrush for some small work and I'm just wondering if there are any users here that can answer some questions?

What specifically are you trying to air brush?

Balsa wood, I normally paint the frog heads with a paint brush but it can take a while doing it that way. I would like to use acrylics as they don't off gas as much as nail polish or model paints.

A base coat should be quick and easy with an airbrush for what I imagine you are doing.
What questions did you have?

Just wondering if I need a special brush or head for acrylics but after looking at gas can prices vs a pump I might just go buy some hobby spray paints from PM. It would take about a hundred poppers sold to make my money back and I don't do that many orders per year.

you can shoot practically any brand of acrylic through a ln airbrush, its all in the thinning. brushs are pretty reasonable but a compressor with moisture trap ends up doubling your cost of a low end setup.
