It hits newsgroups typically 30 min after it finishes airring. Torrents shortly after so probably 1-2 hours after broadcast?

In all honesty? How sure are you about that whole 1 million GBP per episode? In CAD that's what $5 million per episode for the three of them? Plus all the production costs and so on

Yeah, the renault was neat. Super tiny for motoring around town. 10 episodes though, that is great. Looks like lots of neat adventure episodes.

Huracan was much faster than I expected though, good competition for 458 and 600S/12C

It's a Hennesey Velociraptor they were testing in BC. My roommate went back home and got to check them out filming.

All filming past that inncident he looked extremely uncomfortable getting in/out of his Lotus.........i did honestly feel bad for him, and cudos to him for soildering on and finishing the filming.

Just watched the cattle herding episode in Australia. So what happens to these $100-200K cars when they are done being absolutely destroyed (at least cosmetically) by dirt & gravel in the back roads, ore mine roads, and fields of the outback? The paint is probably fucked, along with other minor damage possibly to suspension parts and wheels. Then again the show has so much money, maybe they can just fix what they need to and give the cars back to the manufactures?

They're probably test articles from the manufacturer that can't be sold. Would be my guess.

Usually, outside of perhaps an added overload leaf, the difference between a 3/4 and 1 ton is usually just that... Chances are he had a big ole 14 bolt on the rear end.

If its a CV shaft up front, I could see that, considering the amount of toruqe and weird angles it would need to articulate going up that hill

and I'm pretty sure outside of the performance work, the difference between a Hennessey and a stock Raptor is otherwise minimal (although I'm surprised that the drivetrain could handle the 620hp and whatever the torque output is...)

Tells you a lot when bullet #5 is 'professional installation'.

The way I read it:
- Supercharger
- Intercooler
- Intake
- Bigger injectors (biggest upgrade besides the S/C to me).
- Tune on a dyno
- A couple decals.


Not that it isn't worth hit, but honestly sounds like something a weekend warrior could do to their own Raptor with a decent sized garage and a case of beer. Comparing the Raptor to the V-Raptor 600 to a Civic/Ferrari is a little insane.

or comparing the actual offroad capability between a V-Raptor & Raptor is neglegable

Raptor is a beast, but wish it came in a regular cab/short box combo!

there is however a difference bertween the Raptor & F150, as its wider, and has a LSD and locker in the front plus the added clearance.

but a stock F150 with a proper suspension (not just blocks) lift w/ a rear locker and 35" tires will get you pretty much just about anywhere as well

I'd say the difference between a 6.2 F150 and a Raptor is the suspension and things to accomodate the width, which would be a wider rear axel, half shaft, and control arms, plus the additonal traction options on the front axel... but I don' think they are using any different pumpkin (i..e not a full floater) or a different transfer case.

you need to read a bit more...

basically a Raptor is a factory lifted F150, then the hennesey takes a "bone stock F150" motor and adds a supercharger

The frame, the drivetrain, the body (other than flares) is essentially the same

admittedly, the fit & finish of any domestic truck, regardless of trim, is anywhere near a top end SUV from the big 3 germans

but its tremendous value for the capabilities, and the Raptor itself really is not much more of a truck than what its based on.

there is no Civic to Ferrari comparision.

that being said, I'd say a G Wagon, Jeep Rubicon would have faired those conditions better.
