ehe broker guy I know, goes quite literially to an entire fleet on behalf of Hyatt to look at and bid on vehicles, and Ford leasing themselves offers some incredible volume discounting &&& typically these trucks never end up at the lots, but rather in the broker/dealer network and truck out across the US & Canada

The Island is a very strange place.

I spent a number of years out there as well. Nanaimo can be downright scary. I saw more violence in bars and clubs in that town than anywhere else I've lived.

Most of the people I hung around with out there had never been off the Island, some had never been South of Duncan or North of Campbell River.

I know Courtenay very well as I travelled all through B.C. Lets see. You could go to Jiggers if you wanted jailbait, or the Loft for that matter. But the place I liked to go for a beer was the Whistle Stop.

If you wanted to buy a nice ball cap, you would go to Happy's Sportsmart. Feel like Eggs Benny, the Atlas Cafe would be your best bet. If you want to go for a dip, you could go up to the wave pool up in Comox by NIC, or go jump off the Oyster River bridge.

If you like tennis you could go down to Lewis park, unless the Tsolum river hasn't overflowed it's banks again. If you like to fish, go off Kitty Coleman and fish the trench located offshore about 3/4 of a mile.

P.S. Does that prove to you that I know something about Courtenay? Can we end the flame war now?
