I graduated from the U of C with B.Sc in chemistry. I have roughly 1.5 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry (16 months at an analytical lab, 3 months at an environmental consulting company). I have the H2S Alive and First Aid Certificates.

I got laid off from the consulting company right before Christmas due to a lack of work. I've been looking but there hasn't been many job postings ever since oil started going down.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone has any leads. PM details if anyone knows anything.

Thanks a lot.

I work in the same field as you. Lots of good paying jobs open right now in SK at the potash mines. Try mosaic, pcs, agrium, k+s. I dont work in the potash industry, but it's up there for pay.

Areva and Cameco are hiring for their FIFO labs but they tend to be a bit harder to get in to if your not a resident of northern SK.

Husky upgrader in Lloyd is/or was hiring last time I heard.
