Where in Calgary #14.

Just a portion of a larger picture I took - yes, this is in Calgary and yes, it is very much an actively used building with a business that's been in Calgary for over 40 years.

Post up your guesses - I suspect this shouldn't take long...

Shit, I thought I had it, but the roof and siding are wrong. Very similar building though . . .
If it's the one I'm thinking of, it hasn't been "in" Calgary for 40 years.

Please note that I do not know if this building is 40 years old or not but the business currently operating out of it has been around for over 40 years. The building in the picture is fairly old though, appears to be much older than others around it. Come to think of it, a 40 year old building would've been built in 1975 and I would daresay this building probably dates well before that.

BTW, not in Heritage Park and I suspect this building has always been where it's currently at.

I worked near there for 7 years, test drove up and down every road around there and never saw that little business. Hell my shops owner had a ball joint collapse 1 block from there.

Really cool little place :)

Some neat old unrestored classics in the back yard there as well.

Pretty sure I have been at this place.....if I am thinking of the right place...old guy..likes to fish...uses metal lead or whatever to repair instead of bondo..works by himself mostly?

The location matches to a place I visited when I was a teenager, my dad befriended the owner as he met him while fishing, he showed us around the shop and all the old cars he was working on. If its the right place, that's kind of neat, never knew the place was popular, thought it was some old dude working in his garage haha

Off all the Calgary Places threads, this is the first one I actually had no idea about. Which is kinda odd because when I was a teenager I worked at a small engine (lawnmower) shop just about a block from here and I walked past these cargo containers all the time.

Just a couple blocks from my favorite oddball spot, the Calgary Pigeon Racing Club.

Such as? that late 30's early 40's truck cab in the front sure caught my eye.

I'll take a picture later today, I know there's a couple of early 60's GM cars back there, an older 2 door Mercedes and a truck. All quite un-restored.

^ Frick, that late 60's Chevy truck looks good potentially, but its pretty far gone.
That white car with the fins looks like a 58-61 Impala/Belair/Biscaynne, too bad its a 4 door. Shitty.
Id be interested to see what that blue car far away in the second pic is, same with the brown one right behind it.
