you can use any cd key now, i'm pretty sure they don't check anymore. last time i played was against my brother on bnet using the same key.

I have the normal startcraft with a CD Key and a Broodwars that doesnt even use a cd key. I've burned a couple of copys to some friends and we play togeather all the time.

Broodwars is just an expansion pack so it doesn't need a cd-key.
