Buying a used car in Vancouver

Looking to pick up a used vehicle in the Vancouver area. But I'm having trouble finding private sales. I'd like to avoid dealerships for reasons like mark-ups and taxes. There's not a huge selection on kijiji or autotrader in Van. Is there another used vehicle marketplace/site that I'm not aware of?

^ Yea its not like Calgary where Kijiji is the defacto site. Usedvancouver.com used to be around as well. The different ethnic communities seem to prefer different sites.

Craigslist existed in BC long before Kijiji became known and has just remained that way.
